Made in America from American Materials
The All Weather Nozzle Cover nozzle is made to resist extreme weather conditions of -30° F, mud, rain and salt. They are made to order in Craftsbury Common, Vermont, using all American Made components.
We source all of our materials from high quality manufacturers in the USA, supporting US jobs:
- 18-gauge vinyl manufactured in North Carolina
- Nylon vislon zippers manufactured in Chicago, Illinois
- 3M reflective tape manufactured in Rhode Island
- Sunguard UV outdoor thread manufactured in a Q-1 rated mill in the USA
- Velcro tape manufactured in Manchester, New Hampshire
The All Weather Cover is designed to mount directly behind the Portable Monitor bracket so it can never be blown off. The durable industrial zippers open easily for quick access to the Blitzfire Portable Monitor from TFT, the RAM Portable Monitor from Elkhart Brass and the Akron Quick Attack by Akron Brass.
Each cover is made with pre-punched holes in the back of the cover that match up with perfect alignment to align the mounting holes found in the respective mounting brackets for each monitor type.
Our Story - All Weather Nozzle
Back in the winter of 2014, the Stowe Fire Department here in Vermont asked if we could design a cover to protect their new Blitzfire Portable Monitor. The Blitzfire was mounted on the back of the fire engine, and was collecting a lot of road dirt and salt spray from the roads during our long winters.
Arriving at a fire, the monitor needed to be free of dirt, and ready to action. After we made them a custom Blitzfire Cover, we realized that they were like many other Fire department facing the same challenges.
More and more fire departments are turning to advanced hose nozzles with GPM monitoring. These new high-tech nozzles can be mounted directly on the back of each team's fire truck, ready to go in an emergency...but also ready to gather dirt and road debris.
Today we make the All Weather Nozzle Cover in several models, specifically designed to protect your Blitzfire, Elkhart RAM, & Akron Quick Attack Monitors while also allowing for easy access when you are on the job.
