All Weather Intake Valve Cover

Modern fire trucks rely on advanced intake valves with external wheels, crank handles, electric motors, and Wi-Fi controls, all vulnerable to road spray and debris. Traditional caps only protect the front-facing waterway and pipe threads, leaving new-generation features exposed to corrosion and dirt.

The All Weather Intake Valve Cover for the Akron Revolution Intake solves this problem by fully encasing the entire valve assembly, threaded pipe face, crank handles, wheels, electric motors, Wi-Fi modules, and bleed valves. Durable 1000D ballistic polyester face and handle and 400D nylon/400D diamond-stamped polyester body create a tough, waterproof seal.

Installation Instructions

1. Simply pull the cylinder-shaped cover over the valve. Image 1
2. Tighten all three shock cord channels found sewn into the cover body. The tightened shock cords allow the cover material to take the shape of the valve to completely encase the valve with a neat and clean look. Once the cords are tightened, the remaining cord ends are coiled and are placed in one of the two velcro-sealed storage pockets found on the surface of the cover.

Removal Instructions

1. Simply release the cords.
2. Pull outwardly using the front-facing handle that is sewn into the front face of the cover.

Storage During Use

1. Simply tighten one of the shock cord channels fully.
2. Use the long loop of shock cord that becomes available to loop over the intake valve, before connection, to store until needed. Image 3
